What we are looking for

We are currently looking for our future Industrial Supplies Buyer on a work-study basis who will join the Gigafactory Purchasing team. In this role, you will contribute to the management and optimization of Industrial Supplies purchases, while actively participating in monitoring operational needs. This course can begin with an internship, followed by a 2-year work-study program. This position is based in our Gigafactory located in Bourbourg, near Dunkirk.

Your main missions

• Identify suitable supply sources to meet the needs of operational and project teams.
• Prepare, launch and follow consultations with suppliers.
• Receive and analyze offers, comparing them in dedicated analysis tables.
• Negotiate and award contracts to a master supplier and secondary suppliers.
• Carry out supplier sourcing and participate in their evaluation by meeting them.
• Collaborate with internal customers to specify needs and collect the necessary information from operational staff.
• Manage calls for tenders for production and maintenance consumables.
• Create, update and monitor purchasing information sheets and masterlists.

Prerequisites

• Prepare a Master's degree in the field of Purchasing or come from a business school with a purchasing specialization

• Be comfortable with the Office pack, particularly Excel

• Knowledge of SAP is a real asset

• Have a minimum level of English B2, both written and spoken

• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and clear communication

• Enjoy negotiation and be motivated by interactions with suppliers

• Have strong analytical and synthesis skills

• Have technical background or a marked appetite for the industrial environment
