Ingénieur(e) Process Electrodes (H/F)

With more than 1,000 talents from 49 countries, we are building together an ultra-modern Gigafactory in Dunkirk, capable of producing 16 GWh of lithium-ion batteries per year, the equivalent of 300,000 electric vehicles. We are currently looking for a process engineer within our Anode and Cathode autonomous production units (UAP) to join our Process Development department. In this capacity, you will be responsible for systems related to electrode processes within our gigafactory located in Bourbourg. You will have the opportunity to participate in its ramp-up.

Missions

• Manage the upstream design of the mixing, coating, pressing and slitting processes

• Develop, design and evaluate innovative processes and equipment

• Collaborate with the product engineering team to optimize the design of the electrodes

• Contribute to resolving issues on pilot equipment

• Improve and increase the level of process automation in order to reduce investments and operating costs

• Test and validate cutting-edge technologies for their integration into electrode processes

Prerequisites

• Engineering degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical engineering or equivalent field

• Industrial experience in manufacturing processes, ideally in the field of batteries
• Knowledge of powder technology, fluid mechanics, rheology and fluid measurement techniques

• Strong skills in statistical analysis and data processing (Python, Matlab, Minitab)

• Professional command of English and French
