Stage Technicien(ne) Qualité - UAP Assembly (H/F)
Ensure quality in battery assembly, helping electrify European mobility with reliable cells.
Join the Verkor adventure!
Verkor is a rapidly expanding French industrial company, a pioneer in the manufacturing of low-carbon batteries. Supported by leaders like Renault, Plastic Omnium and Schneider Electric, our mission is clear: electrify the future of European mobility. With more than 1,000 talents from 49 countries, we are building together an ultra-modern Gigafactory in Dunkirk, capable of producing 16 GWh of lithium-ion batteries per year, the equivalent of 300,000 electric vehicles. Verkor is looking for an intern to join the UAP Assembly Quality team as part of an operational internship of 3 to 4 months from now on.
Missions
- Carry out quality controls (visual, dimensional and functional) on the cells produced using measuring tools (micrometer, microscope, traction machine, CMM) and analyze the results in dedicated software.
- Control and validate machine and system parameters in-line, by comparing detection data with process settings (assembly, stacking, tab welding, ELFilling).
- Identify, analyze and map defects and rejects (tab welding, packaging, stacking, alignment, porosity, cracks, etc.) in order to determine the root causes.
- Report deviations from technical specifications and participate in the implementation of corrective actions, in collaboration with the production and quality teams.
- Support and train operators on critical quality control points to improve process control and reduce non-conformities.
Prerequisites
- Preparation of a Bac+2/3 level diploma in quality, metrology, electrochemistry or physical measurements
- Responsiveness and adaptability in an industrial environment
- Ability to work in a team and ease in communication
- Good understanding of battery manufacturing cycles
