About the position

We are looking for an OT / Automation & Digital Manufacturing Manager to provide OT/Edge technical leadership for the Grenoble and Dunkirk Gigafactory sites, guaranteeing the availability, robustness, cybersecurity and scalability of industrial architectures. The position manages the integration, standardization and operation of OT solutions allowing the collection, contextualization and reliable distribution of industrial data from field equipment to supervision and operating platforms. You will be expected to be a high-level referent on PLC, Ignition, SCADA, HighByte, OPC UA environments and data streaming architectures, with a key role in the industrial digital transformation of both sites.

Main missions

Define and maintain the target OT/Edge architecture for the Grenoble and Dunkirk Gigafactory sites, consistent with the company's industrial, cybersecurity and data standards. Manage the integration, configuration and advanced support of PLCs, Ignition platforms, SCADA solutions and industrial connectivity components. Design and deploy flows for collecting, modeling, contextualizing and disseminating industrial data via HighByte, OPC UA and data streaming mechanisms. Ensure availability, performance and maintainability of critical OT systems in production, including management of complex incidents and root cause analyses. Standardize practices, templates, interfaces and data models between the two sites in order to accelerate deployments and reduce technical variability. Ensure the technical interface between the automation, production, maintenance, MES/IT, data and supplier teams to secure roadmaps and commissioning. Define best practices for OT cybersecurity, access management, network segmentation and securing inter-system exchanges. Support extension, revamping and industrial digitalization projects from the scoping phase through to production. Document architectures, operating procedures, integration standards and continuity plans for OT/Edge environments. Train, coach and increase the skills of local teams on OT/Edge technologies and advanced support methods.

Prerequisites

• Engineering diploma or Bac+5 minimum in automation, industrial IT, embedded systems, industrial electronics or equivalent discipline.
• Proven experience in complex multi-site industrial environments, with strong exposure to critical OT systems and industrial digitalization projects.
• Advanced mastery of PLCs, Ignition, SCADA architectures, HighByte, OPC UA and industrial data streaming mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of industrial networks, OT cybersecurity, industrial data models and edge-to-cloud integration principles.
• Experience in commissioning, revamping, industrial ramp-up and 24/7 production support is a major asset.
• Additional certifications or training in automation, OT cybersecurity, IIoT architectures or Ignition/HighByte platforms are a plus.
• Fluent English required
