Wanna join the adventure? As a Frontend Engineer at Loft, you will work on a range of projects, including refining the UI of Cockpit, our satellite operations software, and empowering end-users with powerful satellite management capabilities. You’ll collaborate with peers on the Frontend Engineering team, as well as interface with the wider Software team.
About this role
- Building and refining tools for satellite operations and autopilot observability
- Developing and maintaining our web applications and services
- Collaborating on UI/UX design to enhance user experience (no need to be a designer, just care about good UX)
- Integrating with backend services using GraphQL APIs
- Supporting internal teams in using our ground software (Cockpit)
- Getting hands-on with satellite operations—everyone at Loft plays a role in mission success!

Must Haves
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript / HTML / CSS
- Experience with Vue or React
- Experience working on SPAs
- Experience with GraphQL APIs
- Experience with Testing (Unit and integration testing (e.g., Vitest, Jest, Cypress
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Web Components
- Experience with Mapping/Geospatial Libraries – e.g., Leaflet, Mapbox, or CesiumJS (could be useful for visualizing satellite data)
- Interest in Space or Aerospace – No prior experience is required, but enthusiasm for space technology is a bonus!
- UI/UX sensibility (no need to be a designer, just to care about that)
