Mechanical Engineering Intern
Build and test real satellite systems for UAE's sovereign space program.
The Opportunity Orbitworks is a sovereign aerospace and advanced technology company in the UAE. We build and test real satellite systems — and our interns work on projects that matter from day one. This is not a shadowing programme. You will own a defined project, work alongside experienced engineers and business professionals, and present outcomes to leadership.
What You'll Do
Trade-off study and selection of a local honeycomb panel supplier. The project covers compiling panel drawings, identifying manufacturing operations, evaluating potential suppliers against ECSS standards, validating vendor processes through coupon/sample fabrication, performing NDT & DTs on panels, and generating a qualification report.

- Supplier recommendation based on technical, commercial, and programmatic trade-off
- NDT & DT test results and process verification documentation
- Completed vendor qualification package
